Personal Mind Map Project
1: What is the purpose of the Mind Map?
- Since ancient times, people have been using methods to tap into the mind's ability to associate and imagine outcomes in order to find solutions, or discoveries. Mind mapping is one way to create an overview of seemingly unrelated stuff and connect them all to you. Mind Mapping is an easy and fun way of organizing many things you like and creating some art out of it. The purpose of our project was to do this, as well as familiarize our class with the tools of Adobe Illustrator.
2: How did you create your Mind Map?
- In order to create the Mind Map, I drew out several images on a piece of paper, as well as several quotes, and scanned the paper. I sent the image to myself, and played around with it in Illustrator, until I was satisfied with what I had and uploaded.
3: Why did you pick the Images you have, and what is one thing you would change?
- I chose the images that I have because they are all significant to me, in one way or another. The cedar tree represents the country I am from, Lebanon, and I was originally going to have everything hanging off the tree, as branches, but I was unable to, because I had drawn some of the images incorrectly. If I were to change one thing, i'd redraw some of the images so I could get the layout plan I wanted.
