4th Honors Spanish Video
Part of the honors requirement for Spanish was that we would take the initiative and produce nine videos, demonstrating growth and showing ability to learn. This is the fourth of such videos. In this video, I talk about recent successes in my class, preparations for future tests, and I also explain how to do conjugations for a certain method.

The script, translated to English, reads, "Hello my friends, I am doing this first honors video for the month of March and I want to start with an update to let you all know that I have passed my present indicative test. This is very exciting for me, because I have remembered all the conjugations used for present indicative. For example, hablar, which in English means to speak, can be conjugated by any form. For simplicity sake, we shall use yo - which shows personal usage, meaning I. In this case, yo hablar becomes yo hablo. I also updated my list of the four hundred most commonly used words. I have translated an estimated three hundred and fifty. Of these four hundred words. I found it surprising that all the words you say in common usage are in this package-having a normal discussion with a partner, I rarely had to use a word that was not on this list. This is a good study guide for my purposes.
Finally, a little update of my other classes. I have been studying for the big SAT Test in June, which I am registered to take. When I took the PSAT, I scored in the ninety-fifth percentile for reading and writing, but just a bit over the seventieth percentile for mathematics. My approach is to improve my mathematical ability so that I can make it amazing in this test. This is all for this week, bye!"
For this video, I continued to improve my usage of numbers, and they felt much more natural than the last video.
I struggled with pronunciation in some regards, because a lot of the terms used in this script involved switching to English. I felt that once I broke my flow to say an English word, it took some time to catch up again. This leads to my next focus - all of my videos will continue to be check ins for my performance in class, and will also be used to show progress in regards to vocabulary, pronunciation, and understanding. One thing I think I can continue to improve upon for future videos is better pronunciation. As I am still learning, this is to be expected, but having proper pronunciation would make my videos' more realistic. This would demonstrate more growth in the future.
